Méribel en Fête: A Summer of unforgettable festivals and events
Méribel, the famous 3 Valleys resort, is offering a rich and varied programme for all the family this summer. As well as traditional activities such as cycling, mountain biking, trail running and golf, the resort is hosting a series of exciting festivals.
Two innovative new events:
Game Over Festival (29-30 June 2024) and Surprenant Festival (19-21 July 2024) add an innovative twist to summer in Méribel. The Game Over Festival transforms the Olympic ice rink into an 1800 m² space dedicated to video games and pop culture, with almost 500 games, professional simulators, virtual reality experiences, tournaments, blind tests, geek quizzes, workshops, conferences and shows by professional gamers. Cosplay fans will be able to meet their favourite characters. At the same time, outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking and horse riding will offer a balance between technology and disconnection.
The Surprenant Festival, free and multidisciplinary, offers an adventure through the Méribel landscape with performances by circus artists, musicians, dancers, storytellers and visual artists in unexpected places, as well as outings accompanied by the guides’ office, offering surprises and experiences off the beaten track.
Two favourites return:
Du Sol au Ciel Festival (12-14 August 2024) returns for its second edition with three days of enchanting shows, including circus acts, initiations, demonstrations and shows for children, as well as acrobatics, fire shows and lectures.
To round off the summer, the Astronomy Festival (22-23 August 2024) offers a fascinating immersion in the universe of the stars, with fun and educational activities enabling enthusiasts to explore the cosmos under an exceptional mountain sky, providing a unique opportunity to discover the mysteries of the universe.
